Stone's death hit Michael hard. She was one of his few friends and was killed under his watch. He will come back home with a wound deeper than a phisical one and this might be the time when Maria stops saying no.
But I'm glad he got back in one piece.

I am SO sad Stone died but I am SO happy Michael made it out alive. I can't believe Stone is gone.....so sad and Michael had to witness the entire thing. Awful. I am glad Michael called Maria. He is really going to need someone......and I think she will fit the bill perfectly. SO very sad for everyone right now. Excellent update. Hugs, SAra

Sarammlover - Stone was perceived as a rival byMaria while in fact, she had her own painful background and was never interested in Michael.

I just loved how you brought everything together in the jungle. I had a feeling that Stone would be a casualty of the mission.......But I never saw Stone's riveting poignant back story that she shared with Michael as she lay dying.

this is so sad. i know it's mean, but I'm glad it wasn't Michael that took the bullet. i actually liked Stone. i always thought she was smart, and done to earth. she gave Michael great advice. maybe Michael will listen to an advice coming from her. they were really close, so her advice will mean more than anyone else including Dupree.

Maria crossed into an AU via the enigma of the granolith. She doesn't have closure with her Michael, she feels she's cheating and she has real feelings for this Michael. She's an all or nothing kinda girl and knows that it wouldn't be fair to him if she couldn't give all of herself to him on her own volition. *Sigh* what a place to be in. I feel for both of them...

I have a feeling this mission is going to be dangerous and could get ugly for Michael. Y'know...

Maria is so fighting a losing battle. they both want this to happen, so she should just give in and see how it all goes. hope nothing too bad happens to Michael and Stone. hopefully, they'll be able to protect themselves against the rebels.

Maria swallowed hard and went back into the kitchen. She wasn't used to Michael being so tense before leaving for one of his jobs; most of the time he didn't show any concern whatsoever. Seeing his reaction was making her worry and she couldn't help the fear that was residing in the center of her chest and affecting her ability to breathe or think about anything else.

Hummm, it's got me worried too. I wonder if real change is coming here, beyond...

this part was so full of emotions, it´s really getting hard for both of them to stay away, huh? And Michael is finally not really hiding that he cares about her a lot. I wonder if he is aware of that?

i can understand that Maria is still holdin back because of the other Michael, but damn, I wish she wouldn´t lol.
